Washington Can’t Wait

Campaign Update

Happy New Year from the Washington Can’t Wait Campaign! We hope that you and yours enjoyed peaceful and joyful holidays.

The legislative session begins on January 11th. This will be the first-ever virtual legislative session and with our legislators needing to address the budget and COVID19, they run the risk of neglecting to take action on other important issues. We must remind our legislators that one crisis does not pause another, and that in fact all the crises Washingtonian’s face are deeply connected and require comprehensive, bold, equitable policy changes. We cannot allow our legislature to wait another year to act on the climate crisis, our housing crisis, or systemic issues of environmental and racial injustice

Below, you will find a few different ways to engage in the campaign and help to make a difference on some of the biggest problems facing our state.
