We appreciate all of you who are committed to helping shape state policies!
For those who are new, the Civic Action Team (CAT) is a project of 350 WA, and is a grassroots organizing campaign that pushes for socially equitable and scientifically sound solutions to the climate crisis at the scale and speed necessary to mitigate harm. We are centering those most impacted by the climate crisis and pushing for policies that benefit BIPOC communities.
Our actions in this email include asking you to ‘oppose’ a bill that has snuck in: it may look good, but it’s actually bad. Then we’ll ask key members of committees to vote the right way for electricity and heating and two police accountability bills.
– Katherine, Rosemary and the whole bunch of CAT volunteers
