4,364: Total legislator contacts made by the Civic Action Team in 2021!
69: Days left in the legislative session!
Okay, now things are starting to get real in the virtual Olympia. Bills have been introduced, but today is the cut off for policy bills to be voted out of their first committee, and next Monday will be the cut off for all bills to be “read out” of Transportation and fiscal committees like Appropriations and Ways and Means. This means bills are going to start to be left by the wayside — with the exception of NTIB bills.
We’ll be asking for action on six important bills that must make significant progress this week in order to remain in play for the session, so let’s get to it!
