Whose side are YOU on?

You know Tim Eyman and you know that for decades he’s pushed initiatives that have gutted the services and safety nets that we all rely on.

 

From roads and bridges to public health, mental health, and homelessness, Eyman has taken a sledgehammer to Washingtonian’s needs, all to benefit himself, his wealthy donors, and extremists.

 

Well, he’s at it again.

 

Now Tim Eyman is pushing a new ballot initiative, I-1408, that would give massive handouts to Washington’s super-wealthy by taking $500 million per year from childcare, early learning, and schools.

 

That’s right. Eyman and his cronies are trying to roll back the progress we made with the passage of the capital gains tax.

 

So, whose side are you on?

Tim Eyman and his rich cronies … or… Washington’s children, students with disabilities, and working parents?

Capital gains tax revenue would fund critical investments in child care, early learning, and public schools. Parents need reliable, affordable childcare so they can get back to work. Our children must have schools and teachers ready to help them reach their full potential.

 

We can’t let Eyman hurt our kids again just to help his rich backers.
