Yesterday the International Court of Justice dropped its ruling on the case South Africa brought against the state of Israel accusing them of genocide. The court found that there is “real and imminent risk” that Israel is committing genocide against the Palestinian people and ordered Israel to take every action possible to prevent it.

 

But today’s ruling does not go far enough, stopping just short of calling for a ceasefire, which will allow Israel to continue its brutal siege of Palestinian territories. Read M4BL’s full statement here.
