We are only 3 weeks away from the biggest climate action in the world — so it is time for us to get prepared to execute powerful mobilizations and storytelling that our elected leaders will be unable to ignore. This requires us to meet, skill-up, and get ready to take strategic action.

Sign up for our remaining Climate Strikes webinar series on Wednesday 9/4 and Wednesday 9/11 at 5 PM PST/ 8 PM ET.

Below are the final two webinar trainings we will be hosting leading up to this year’s climate strikes that will be very helpful for you and your group to attend:

Know Your Rights (September 4th)

Join Lauren Regan, Executive Director and Senior Staff Attorney of the Civil Liberties Defense Center (CLDC), for a Know Your Rights (KYR) training that will help develop your skills as a climate defender. Learn what your constitutional rights are and how they apply to protests and demonstrations. We will talk about issues relating to permits, public & private property, interacting with law enforcement and much more! About 30-40 minutes will be a presentation and overview, and then lots of space for questions. Everyone — especially youth and first-time organizers — are encouraged to attend!

Opportunities & Challenges: Sept 20th-27th Organizing (Sept 11th)

Join 350.org staff to workshop final ideas & strategies for climate strike week of action events. This webinar will be an opportunity for people organizing at the local level to share ideas and to be inspired by others’ plans. We’ll also have a chance to delve into common challenges and review helpful resources. Everyone — especially youth and first-time organizers — are encouraged to attend!

Register for the September 4th Know Your Rights & the September 11th Opportunities & Challenges webinars here.
