My name is Oonaugh, and I’m reaching out as a 17 year-old high school student to ask that you join me and other youth in the streets this Friday, October 29. For weeks, climate organizations around the globe have been working in collaboration with Future Coalition to organize a massive day of climate action that day; there will be over 100 actions in more than a dozen countries.

Our goals: To call out the world’s biggest enablers of climate chaos (JP Morgan Chase and Liberty Mutual) and demand that they halt all support of fossil fuels, and to demand that the City Council rise to this moment.

We’ve seen what happens when we let corporations decide our future. Now, it’s time to take back the narrative.

We need you to make this happen. Can you march with us THIS Friday October 29th?

Our march will focus on three targets in three locations: JP Morgan Chase, Liberty Mutual, and City Council. The first two hold the power to change our future forever….and the third has to get serious about the Green New Deal by passing the Solidarity Budget and making sure no more Seattle homes are built to use fossil fuels. We’ll have speakers and performers to ground us at each of the three destinations. At each stop, we’ll participate in creative actions like singing, and the construction of a memorial of what we stand to lose to climate change.

Now is the time to show CEOs and politicians who really holds the power.

But we can’t do this without you. Will you join us this Friday, October 29th in downtown Seattle to march with youth around the world?

Join the action’s Facebook event or Signal group to get live updates and invite two friends to march with you.

I hope I’ll see you in the streets!

Oonaugh, for the 10/29 Youth Organizing Committee
