Black and Indigenous people in the Gulf South have historically and continue to bear the brunt of the fossil fuel industry’s insatiable appetite for profits.
We invite you to hear directly from leaders of the Gulf frontlines about their experiences of environmental racism and take digital action in solidarity with them.
On Wednesday March 15th, will hear from John Beard of Port Arthur Community Action Network (Texas), Roishetta Ozane of the Vessel Project (Louisiana), Michael Esealuka of Healthy Gulf (Louisiana), RISE St. James, and Juan Mancias of Carrizo Comecrudo Tribe (Texas) on their ongoing fight for clean air, water, and land.
In solidarity,
– Jackie Fielder, Stop the Money Pipeline
