This set of actions is similar to Monday’s since there are more bills that need to move to their respective chamber floor for a vote. We’ll ask you to make comments for five House bills and one Senate bill. We know the action involves filling out the same information multiple times, but using the state legislature website is an effective way to communicate with your elected leaders. Thank you for all you do!

For those who are new, we are the Civic Action Team (CAT) and we send emails on Monday and Wednesday mornings. All of our actions are related to what’s happening in the Washington state legislature each week — committee hearings, executive sessions, etc. We focus on bold climate bills that address the climate crises, racial justice bills that address the systemic racism still prevalent in every aspect of our lives; and progressive tax policies to make much needed improvements to Washington’s current regressive tax system.
