Dear allies of the Red, Black & Green New Deal,

With much excitement and an unwavering understanding that there is no climate justice without Black liberation, the Red, Black, & Green New Deal will launch with the National Black Climate Summit this Tuesday May 11 at 6pm EDT (3pm PDT). RBGND leadership also is asking for allied organizations and individuals to prepare to amplify this launch and the National Black Climate Summit by posting on social media and otherwise sharing with your networks on Tuesday May 11 at 1pm EDT (10am PDT). A tailored social media toolkit for allies will be shared Monday morning.

The National Black Climate Summit is open to all and will serve as a powerful, public launch of the Red, Black & Green New Deal initiative. It will also kick off a virtual pilgrimage of deep engagement, political education, and movement building towards advancing a climate vision for Black Lives.
