In just one week, Third Act is kicking off with a live online event to get experienced Americans—people over 60—involved in the most important fights of our time.
If you know someone who is 60+ and looking for ways to take action on climate, racial equity, or voting rights, share the link below (and register yourself!): “Welcome to Your Third Act!” on December 7, at 5 PM Pacific / 8 PM Eastern
We’ve got a lot in store to make it worth your time, including music, stories, and opportunities to start making a difference right now. Attendees will hear from both of us—Third Act Founder Bill McKibben and Lead Advisor Akaya Windwood—and a lineup of visionary elders, experienced organizers, and frontline changemakers.
They’ll talk about the unique and valuable gifts that elders bring to the most critical fights of our time—including climate justice, racial equity, and voting rights—and discuss the ways we can all come together and create real impact. They’ll answer your questions and, of course, you’ll walk away with some specific opportunities to get involved. And the arts will be core to everything we do, so expect to be moved—literally—by some terrific players who are coming along for the ride.
You can also help spread the word, and plan to gather with a vaccinated friend (or ten!) when you watch next week.
Akaya Windwood, Lead Advisor & Bill McKibben, Founder
PS: Yes, it’s Giving Tuesday. We’re not doing a whole fundraising campaign around it—we’re just getting started here! But if you like what we’re up to and want to donate toward our launch budget we’re beyond grateful and will put it to good use in the coming weeks and months. You can donate (and find FAQs about ways to give) at this page.
