What a treat it was to spend Election Eve last night connecting with climate organizing friends in the PNW. We have so many great people working hard for climate justice across Oregon and Washington and Alaska, and it’s good to feel connected as we hold our collective breath ahead of today’s election. I know we’ve all been working so very hard to Get Out The Vote, and it’s good to remember that we are not alone, no matter what the outcome.
Reminder: we are now meeting every other week! Our next 350 WA+ Conversations will be on Monday, November 16th @ 6pm PST.

And a special note from Alec Connon of 350 Seattle for supporting each other today:
“If you’re anything like me, you are probably feeling pretty damn anxious right now. With the basic foundations of democracy being undermined and rising authoritarianism all around, there’s an awful lot to be anxious about.
At a time like this, it’s more important than ever that we remain deeply rooted and connected to the community around us. Yet, that’s challenging right now. Normally, many of us would seek community on Election Night by going to friends’ houses or to election night parties. But, owing to the pandemic, that won’t be happening this year.
