Neat action opportunity on LNG/PSE

Can you help us reach our goal of 1,000 messages?

Let’s surround the LNG construction site with positive thoughts of alternate possibilities in the form of colorful flags – each of your “tweet” sized messages will be written onto a flag and hung along the fence. Answer the question that speaks most to you:

What do you want to see instead of LNG?
What do you envision for this space?
What do you envision for a future without fracking?
What or who are you defending when you fight climate change?

Write a brief message now to help us reach our goal!

Your message can be in any language and even just your favorite environmental quote.

We want to keep this dangerous facility in the public eye as the Puyallup Tribe and Earthjustice prepare to challenge a key permit at the Pollution Control Hearings Board in April. Despite that, Puget Sound Energy has filed to start operating the facility in May, well before any hearing decision would be made.

La compañía Puget Sound Energy continúa construyendo sus instalaciones para buscar Gas Líquido (LNG) rompiendo los suelos y malogrando el agua, en las tierrras de la Tribu Nativa de Puyallup sin tener permiso y desafiando las leyes del clima.

En Abril, la Tribu Puyallup y la organización Earth justice, representando varios grupos protectores del medio ambiente están presentando sus casos en contra de este proyecto, a la Comisión de Audiencia del Control de Polución de Washington, desde el 12 hasta el 23 de Abril. A pesar de ello, Puget Sound Energy ha presentado su solicitud para empezar sus operaciones en Mayo!

Ayúdanos a rodear la construcción de LNG con banderas que llevarán tus comentarios, sueños,mejores deseos o mensajes como posibilidades alternativas.
Cada mensaje será escrito en una bandera y colgado alrededor de la construcción. Cada persona puede escribir tantos mensajes como quiera!

-Cuál es tu visión para que éste espacio sea mejor para Tacoma?
-Cómo crees es el futuro sin romper el planeta para buscar Gas?

-También puedes escoger tu frase favorita sobre el medio ambiente, justicia ambiental, etc y enviarnos lo que piensas en tu idioma nativo si así lo prefieres.
