The M4BL Policy Team would like to thank everyone for joining us for June Reparations Month. In honor of the 100th Anniversary of the Tulsa Race Massacre, the 2020 Uprisings, the 50th Anniversary of the War on Drugs, and Juneteenth, the Movement for Black Lives sponsored a month of activities focusing on reparations for slavery and its afterlives in the US.
Missed it? We got you — We made a series of educational offerings to help you better understand reparations, get you the skills you need to start local reparations campaigns, and support national efforts to pass reparations legislation at the Federal level. If you missed out on any offerings or just wanna learn more, we’ve compiled some highlights and resources from the entire month below. Enjoy.
For more resources, visit our reparations resource page where we’ve listed out all the incredible studies, papers, and projects that helped inform our month of awareness and action.
