In the last month, our planet has sent us some alarming messages about our climate: from massive fires sweeping the West Coast, Siberia, the Amazon and parts of Europe to unprecedented flooding sweeping China, Europe and parts of the U.S.

The world’s leading scientists are sounding the alarm too — releasing a new report of all of the latest science, calling this moment, “Code Red for Humanity.”

If action isn’t taken NOW, with even half a degree more warming, we’ll see more and worse extreme heat, habitat loss, drought, and sea-level rise. That’s why it’s so critical that we stop the flow of oil through Line 3, before it adds to a climate catastrophe. But we’re running out of time Jeanne: the pipeline is being constructed as you read this.

U.S. Army Corps leader Jaime Pinkham has the power to permanently stop Enbridge’s Line 3 Pipeline. Help us urge him to revoke its water permit & stop this deadly fossil fuel project.

The UN report has made it EVEN clearer that tar sands pipelines, and the havoc they bring to communities and the climate, have no place in a livable world.

Line 3 will carry enough crude oil to produce the environmental impact of 50 coal power plants. Line 3 threatens the survival and livelihood of the Anishinaabe People. It’s not even complete yet, and water protectors are being brutalized with chemical weapons and rubber bullets for trying to protect waterways.

To disband this disastrous project, we need to keep pressuring the people who CAN stop it. Today, help us call on U.S. Army Corps leader Jaime Pinkham to revoke Line 3’s water permit and choose Indigenous rights and clean water over Enbridge and tar sands.

We still have time to act, but it’s going to take all of us to keep demanding a livable world. Because there’s no climate justice while pipelines exist.
