This morning, Rep. Ocasio-Cortez and the Intercept released “A Message from the Future with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez,” a powerful new video narrated and co-written by Ocasio-Cortez on how we got where we are at today and what could be possible over the coming decade if we come together and fight for a Green New Deal.

At stops, hundreds will gather to hear from politicians and community leaders championing the Green New Deal about how the Green New Deal would protect their communities from climate change and boost the local economy. Then Sunrise leaders will announce the next steps in the local Green New Deal campaign and invite everyone to join in.
It all starts tomorrow when over one thousand of us launch tour in Boston with Senator Ed Markey, Representative Ayanna Pressley, and young leaders from Boston. (Senator Elizabeth Warren will be joining virtually with a short video).
Tour could be the biggest series of events ever in our movement’s history, and could set us on the path to building an unstoppable movement that cements the Green New Deal at the center of the national conversation as we go into the 2020 election.
