Puget Sound Energy is once again trying to raise residential customer rates to pay for the construction costs of the controversial Tacoma Liquefied Natural Gas facility.
Help urge the Utilities and Transportation Commission to deny their request!
The Puyallup Tribe and Earthjustice are still appealing the permits for this controversial facility in court. Residential customers should not have to pay for a facility mainly used to supply maritime fuel, especially when many people are already struggling to pay their bills. We are in a climate crisis and should not be forced to continue reimbursing utilities that build new fossil fuel infrastructure.
We need your help sending a strong message to the Utilities and Transportation Commission to deny this harmful rate increase.

P.S. Please plan to also give a verbal comment at the Public Hearing via zoom on Wednesday November 1st starting at 6pm!
