Did you see this? Yesterday, more than 100 people dropped a banner in Washington, DC to send a clear message to Chuck Schumer and Senate Democrats: we need a climate plan that meets the urgency and scale of the climate crisis. We need a Green New Deal.

We brought the call for a tangible, timely, and bold climate action plan to the Senate. Now, we need you to deliver the message to your representatives at home.

Yesterday in DC, we showed our elected leaders this movement isn’t going anywhere — now, we have to keep up the pressure. Sign up here today to host a Real Climate Leadership petition delivery in Cashmere.

The climate clock is ticking, and millions of people in the US and around the world are already suffering from the impacts of the climate crisis. We need our leaders to take meaningful action to combat climate chaos and build the 100% renewable energy-powered future we need — now.

That’s where you come in. The week of February 4-8, thousands of people across the country will deliver messages to show our Representatives how much widespread support there is for a Green New Deal.

Since the midterm elections in November, 350 and dozens of allies have gathered hundreds of thousands of messages from people nationwide calling for the real climate leadership we need. Now, we’re calling for people like you to deliver those signatures to their members of Congress to bring the message home.

Sign up here to host a Real Climate Leadership petition delivery in your district to make it clear to your Representatives that Cashmere wants a bold Green New Deal — now.

And one more note: If you’re interested in hosting an action but have questions or want support, don’t worry — our organizers are here to make sure you have everything you need. We’re hosting two training calls on on January 22nd and 28th, both at 8pm EST, to help you lead the charge for a Green New Deal in your community. You can sign up to join either of those training calls here.

We can’t let another Congress waste two more years without taking meaningful steps toward bold, just climate solutions we need. It’s our job to turn up the heat — and we won’t stop until all our members of Congress are real climate leaders.

Onward,

John
