Featuring Thenjiwe McHarris, Dr. Noura Erakat, Sibongile Ndashe, Dr. Justice Mavedzenge, M4BL’s very own Dr. Amara Enyia, and others, this informative discussion specifically explored South Africa’s case charging Israel with genocide at the International Court of Justice. This webinar is part of a larger political-education initiative led by Global Black, a transnational and international advocacy organization.
Recently, a U.S. Federal court ruled in Defense for Children International-Palestine et al v. Biden et al that while “it is plausible that Israel’s conduct amounts to genocide, U.S. foreign policy was a political question over which courts lacked jurisdiction.” Jeanne, we can’t wait for these outdated institutions to fight for Palestinians’ lives and freedom. We need everyone to stand up TODAY and keep demanding a ceasefire.
