Jeanne,
I’m excited to announce that our new virtual training series — Skilling Up for Climate Action — starts this Saturday! This series of five workshops is designed to help ground us in shared principles, strategies and tools, create stronger connections with peers across the 350 networks, and empower each other to take bolder and more strategic action for climate justice.
If you’re thinking about starting a local 350 group or deepening your activism in other ways, I highly recommend that you join these trainings.
Our first virtual session on Climate Justice is this Saturday, March 6 at 2pm ET / 11am PT, where we’ll be discussing the intersections between the climate and social justice movements and how to identify and address white supremacy culture and inequity in our work.
Register here »All of our virtual trainings are facilitated by experienced trainers from our local groups — 350 New Hampshire, 350 Colorado, 350 Bay Area, MN350, SanDiego350 and 350 Massachusetts for a Better Future — in collaboration with the 350.org U.S. organizing department.
Whether you’re new to the climate justice movement or a seasoned activist, this series is perfect for people at every skill level.
All of the workshops are FREE. Each session lasts for 90 minutes and is followed by an optional 30 minute reflection on the training techniques. CART closed captioning will be provided at all workshops.
If you can’t make the training dates, but are still interested, RSVP and we will send you the recording and resources afterwards.
If you’d like to learn more about our upcoming training topics, check out the details here.
Hope to see you this Saturday!
