There are less than two weeks for bills to pass out of their committee of origin and to be read into the record on the floor (except House fiscal committees and Senate Ways & Means and Transportation committees). The first cut off date is Monday, Feb 15, 2021.
Several important bills are having executive hearings this week, but rather than chase after all of them we’re focusing on three that address environmental justice and police accountability. We’re also going to ask you to contact your own legislators and urge them to support what we see as the four strongest climate bills in session today.
