Sightline Institute is circulating this sign-on letter in support of a variety of housing bills, including SB 5235. The letter includes some of the key land use, tenant protections, and affordable housing bills and budget requests that are still in play. We would love for you to sign onto the letter so legislators can see the broad spectrum of advocates championing housing bills this session.

Have you heard about the “Citizen’s Climate Assembly”? https://www.waclimateassembly.org

The virtual WA Climate Assembly brings together diverse groups of people who reside in Washington State to discuss how our state can reduce climate pollution. Although Assembly member Learning Sessions are now finished, there are a number of ways you can contribute to the process, including reviewing draft policy recommendations.  This type of citizen’s assembly is popular in Europe, this is the first one to occur in the U.S.
