PRESSURING BANKS AND INSURANCE COMPANIES CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Last week, Chubb confirmed to a Financial Times reporter that it will not provide coverage for any tar sands projects, becoming the 16th insurer to drop the Trans Mountain pipeline.

IMAGE DESCRIPTION HERE

I can’t overstate how big this is. Chubb is the world’s largest publicly traded property and casualty insurer, and its decision to cut ties with the tar sands is not only a major blow for Trans Mountain – but all future tar sands projects trying to get off the ground.

Want to help make sure bank executives get the message? Send an email to Wall Street leaders to demand they Defund Climate Chaos by the start of the COP26 climate talks on November 1st in Glasgow, Scotland.
