Greetings from the (growing!) 350 Washington Civic Action Team,

We are excited to share next steps with you for volunteering with the 350 Washington Civic Action Team.

In our last call, many of you expressed interest in Bill Tracking. We’re so glad! For you all, and for anyone else curious too, please attend our next meeting on Friday, September 4 from 9 AM to 10:30 AM. We will learn about how to track bills, begin forming some awesome teams, and explore next steps for the various roles we identified at our last meeting. You can register using the link above.

Even if you aren’t planning to volunteer as a bill tracker, this training will be open to all and is a super great opportunity to get to know each other better while learning some of the nuts and bolts of what goes on behind the scenes to make this massive mobilization project possible during the legislative session.

2021 is going to be an incredibly pivotal legislative session for climate and justice, and you can make a real difference in getting bold climate policy passed in the state of Washington by volunteering along with us.

The 350 WA CAT,

Katherine Leggett, David Perk, Selden Prentice, Grace Hope, and YOU!

Ps, In case you missed it, here is the video from our last 1-hour volunteer recruitment call, and the slides. Take a peek to get to look at all of the exciting new ways we plan to grow this work.
