Hello CAT friends! Greetings on this Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

Surprisingly, the legislature is meeting today, as they do on Presidents’ Day! We have quite a variety of subjects for action today; all but one of the actions just calls for a simple sign-in Pro for a committee hearing.

Somebody asked why we ask you to go to a “survey” to take action. We use the platform Survey Monkey because it allows you to give us feedback and enables us to maintain the data on how many actions were taken by CAT members. Which helps keep us inspired!

By the way, to read the bill we describe, or track its progress, click on the highlighted bill number. That takes you to a page on the legislature’s website that includes a link to the bill text, along with a lot of other information.
