Chase, Wells Fargo, Bank of America and Citibank are the four largest funders of fossil fuels and deforestation in the world.

But like all companies, they need to listen to their customers. That is why [today/this week] Stop the Money Pipeline is launching a new program: Customers for Climate Justice.

These banks claim to put their customers’ concerns as their top priority. That means that as a customer, you have a special leverage to push your financial institution to live up to the ethics that they claim to uphold.

That’s why Customers for Climate Justice aims to empower hundreds of Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, and Citibank customers to demand climate justice within their financial institution. Customers will be sending emails, making phone calls, writing good old-fashioned letters, organizing other customers in your area, and more!
