Climate change is here now and it is wreaking havoc on our planet and our communities. In fact, according to a recent report in the Washington Post, nearly ⅓ of Americans have experienced a weather disaster since June.
Meanwhile, the federal government has continued giving big fossil fuel companies tens of billions of dollars in subsidies every single year.
It’s past time that we stop spending taxpayer money to make climate change worse.

On August 30, more than 50 Democratic members of Congress sent a letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer urging them to take immediate action to phase out fossil fuel subsidies.
