I have some pretty exciting news to share with you!
I’ve been dreaming up ways to help all of us tackle the complex challenges we face as climate organizers. Like each of you, I want to grow this profoundly crucial movement.
We’ve all experienced webinars and trainings via Zoom, but what if we reimagine what’s even possible on this platform? What if we had a simple way to talk with other climate organizers in our region to share our hard-earned experiences and wisdom, ask questions, and swap ideas?
Announcing the first-ever 350.org Regional Conversation Series!
This monthly conversation series is a place for folks from 350 local groups and affiliates in the PNW region to engage in thoughtful discussions around key organizing topics. Facilitated by Grace Hope, the PNW Regional Organizer for 350.org, these events will be a place to share resources, gain skills, and connect with others in our region as we work to mobilize for meaningful change in the face of the climate crisis.

We’ll be addressing each of these topics in turn in our monthly series, and bringing together all of the 350.org resources on each topic along with our own experiences in ways that are useful to your local group. These conversations are not limited to folks in leadership positions at local groups but are open to all active volunteers, so consider this as a wonderful learning opportunity to offer to anyone in your group interested in joining the conversation.
None of us has all of the answers for building a powerful movement for climate justice, but together we can transform our region by helping each and every local group reach their full potential. I hope you will join along on this journey towards a beautiful, equitable, and safe future, together.
