Finally, some good news!

Just last week, a federal court dealt a huge blow to Trump’s pro-fossil-fuel agenda by blocking his administration’s brazen push to open the protected waters of Alaska’s Arctic coast to oil and gas drilling.1

This victory is a reminder that when we all fight, we can win — and there’s still a lot of fighting ahead. The Trump administration is still deep in the pockets of the fossil fuel billionaires, and now, he just doubled down on his promise to build the Keystone XL Pipeline.2

This is why organized resistance like the Promise to Protect is so important. Through the Promise to Protect training tour, we’ve already trained dozens of people in communities across the country to be ready to mobilize against Keystone XL and other pipelines — and we’re just getting started.

Fight Trump’s fossil-fueled agenda: sign the Promise to Protect today to show that people everywhere are going to keep taking a stand against toxic fossil fuel projects like Keystone XL, and we’re ready to take action.

Since day one, the Trump administration has prioritized fossil fuel polluters’ profits over environmental protection, Indigenous rights, and the warming climate. But now, this Arctic drilling decision just threw a major wrench at their oily plans.

It’s inspiring to see the courts standing up to Trump’s unlawful attempts to drill for oil and gas in some of our most critical ecosystems. But we can’t always count on judges to fight for people and the planet — that’s our movement’s job. Now, it’s your turn.

Don’t stand idly by, sign the Promise to Protect and check out the Promise to Protect Tour to attend a your local skills building training.

Make no mistake: the Trump Administration will continue their crusade to drill for oil and gas in the Arctic, and they’re already appealing the court’s decision. But no matter what happens, Trump can’t appeal our people power. Now more than ever, we need you on board to continue the resistance against drilling and pipelines across the nation.

Can we count on you to keep up this momentum and step up for people and the planet? Sign the Promise to Protect to stand up to Trump and the fossil fuel billionaires.

Onward,
Nkenge Abidemi
