Hello CAT team!

The session is steaming along! Week 3 already, and only ten days until the cutoff for bills to pass out of policy committees.

There was a wonderful victory this week when HB 1099 passed the house! We advocated for this bill last year because it will help communities plan for reduction in greenhouse gas emissions and defines environmental justice as a planning goal for all communities in the state. Now it’s time to encourage our senators to support it so it can make it all the way through this year.
