Wanted to make sure that you saw the announcements about some great capacity-building opportunities coming up via 350:
1) Resource Hub Kick Off: October 12th, 8-9 pm ET/ 5-6 pm PT. We’ve gathered together the most requested resources & created an online hub where you can find them. Grab a party hat, your favorite snacks & meet us on zoom. Register for the call here. We’ll have a chance to walk through the new website, highlight different tools & discuss together ways to use the resources. The organizing team will also provide campaign updates & training opportunities. All local group members are welcome to attend; we’re looking forward to seeing you!
2) Skilling Up for Climate Action: First Session: Climate Justice, October 16th, 2 pm ET/ 11 am PT. Five online 2 hour trainings designed to skill up members across the 350 group network, ground group members in shared principles, knowledge & strategy. All members/supporters of 350 affiliates in North America are welcome! Recordings and materials will be available. Delivered by experienced trainers from local 350 groups in collaboration with 350.org. All training’s are SATURDAYS 11:00 am – 1:00 pm PT // 2:00 – 4:00 pm ET [October 16th, 2021 – CLIMATE JUSTICE, October 30th, 2021 – STRATEGIC MESSAGING, November 20th, 2021 – ORGANIZING and MOVEMENT BUILDING, December 4th, 2021 – STRATEGIC CAMPAIGNING, December 18th, 2021 – POLICY ADVOCACY]
