Open Electric House: You’re invited, and please invite your friends, too!

What: “Open Electric House” to showcase the advocacy and organizing that is being done across Oregon + Washington on building electrification.

Who: All advocates, organizers, and activists who are working on building electrification/decarbonization at the local and state levels in Oregon and Washington are encouraged to join.

When: Wednesday December 8th, 12-2 PT

Where: On Zoom (link below and in the calendar event). We will have more information on facilitation and structure as we get closer, and we invite your input on both!

Why: There’s a lot of amazing work happening and our movement is growing really fast! It’s an important moment to help everyone become familiar with the full context of the regional movement,

This meeting could serve as a first step in reconfiguring and improving our work as a movement. There could be opportunities to restructure within/across coalitions and campaigns, form new partnerships across groups and/or coalitions, and cut down on any duplicative work (e.g. many folks are in many similar meetings on this topic, and we may want to assess new ways of working together that allow for fewer calls).

Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us (Anne + Ingrid with Stand.earth) if you have questions, ideas, or feedback.

Cheers!

Ingrid Archibald (ingrid@stand.earth)
