Earth Day Is On Its Way! 

As we honor the Earth there are many things to do this week and weekend.

APRIL-

17th –  350wenatchee.org at Chase Bank protesting Chase’s funding of dirty energy: noon-1:00 then having their meeting at Pybus Market from 1:00-3:00. (good weather = outside in southend park/poor weather = inside Pybus) visit their website at  350wenatchee.org

 

19th -“Climate Change and Climate Justice” -2pm in Wenatchi Hall Rm.2105 @ WVC. Joan Qazi and Livia Millard presenting.  “WVC Speaks” program

19th – “Green Drinks” @ Norwood Wine Bar 4:30-6:30 Featuring Sustainable Wenatchee

 

21st – Sustainable Wenatchee at Pybus 10 a.m.- 2:00 p.m.

*Enjoy activities provided by TEAMS Learning Center.

*Learn about the NCW EcoChallenge coming up in May and get registered. *Practice putting a bike on the front of a Link Transit bus.

*PLUS bring your own cup and get some FREE organic lemonade from the   Hunter’s Wife Health Bar or coffee from Cafe Columbia.  (see attachment)

21st – Chelan Earthday

 

22nd – Interfaith Climate Group “Gratitude for our Water” 2:00 Walla-Walla Point/Coyote statue (see attachment)

22nd – Kid’s Science Event at Wenatchee Valley Museum 10-2PM

22nd – Leavenworth Earth Day Fair Noon-4:00PM
