Backbone Campaign

Jeanne —

Inspired by and in solidarity with workers, organizers, and communities across the country, eight of Backbone’s Solidarity Brigades deployed to support the #MayDay2020 #GeneralStrike. Projections took place in Oakland, Bellingham, Spokane, Wenatchee, Portland, Seattle, San Diego, and DC.

But don’t take our word for it – watch this incredible video!

[Big thanks to editor Peter Menchini!]

Now is the time to strengthen #WorkersRights, NOT leave #EssentialWorkers vulnerable and unprotected.

Now is the moment to guarantee access to food, health, housing, transportation and a livable planet.

Now is the time to make sure that the “new normal” is more just, dignified and sustainable than the “old normal.”

#MayDay2020 was the just the launch of a powerful new wave of solidarity. Backbone looks forward to locking arms with our courageous sisters and brothers across the country in the months and years ahead.

Thank you to everyone who helped out and supported. Let’s #ReMakeTheWorld

Forward Together!
