Summer of Heat

Elders Day during week 1 of Summer of Heat was a hit – 60 people were arrested blocking the entrance to Citi using rocking chairs. They’ve decided to return for an entire week!

On Monday, July 8th, at 10 AM, join Summer of Heat and Third Act for a press conference with climate luminaries, followed by a funeral procession to Citi HQ. This action will mourn all that we have lost and continue to lose to climate disasters. Join us in demanding that Citi stop funding climate deaths.

JOIN THE ACTION

There are roles for everyone: attending the press conference, holding a sign, joining the “die-in,” and causing some disruption. You don’t need to be an elder to attend!

After you’ve signed up for the action, be sure to join an upcoming call to learn how to plug into the action, especially if you’re planning on taking on a more disruptive role.
