The 350 WA Civic Action Team works hard to make strong climate justice connections across many different policy areas including Housing, Building Electrification, Waste Management, Transportation, Forestry, Police Accountability and Criminal Justice Reform, Energy, and more.
At the January 2nd launch the following document was presented. It’s all their work and look at upcoming legislative bills/session/partners. Excellent work – and detailed!
It was so wonderful to see many of you at our 2025 CAT Campaign Kickoff last Thursday! It was such a pleasure to share a digital space with all of you and to come together with a focus on passing just and sound climate and justice policy this legislative session. The legislative session starts in ONE WEEK, so now is the perfect time to make sure you are signed up to receive our twice weekly action emails!
If you missed the event, you can check out the recording here (password: %3*=M!xG). We also shared a wide variety of links throughout the event, so here they all are in one convenient place:
- Slides from the event
- 2025 CAT Legislative Priorities
- Link to sign-up to receive the action emails (make sure to scroll down a little to see where to enter you information)
- CAT Campaign One-pager
Action Emails will be starting next week, so keep an eye out for the first Action Email of the session! Looking forward to working with you all to show the power of grassroot climate advocacy!
The CAT Volunteer Team
We mobilize people across Washington to advocate for sound and just climate policy in the legislature by creating low- barrier action alerts primarily through email. Our volunteer- driven teams all contribute to our shared effort to create and publish two emails tailored with options for how much time you have (from 5-20 minutes per week) during the legislative session. We provide tools, talking points, and clear directions for everyday people to take effective action and support constituents in building meaningful relationships with their district legislators.
