Solutionary Rail, as part of the Rail Can’t Wait Campaign, is thrilled to support House Bill 1837 and its Companion Bill in the Senate, 5667, that will implement long-awaited improvements to Amtrak Cascades intercity passenger rail service.

The House Bill has an important Hearing at 4pm on Monday, Feb 10th.  There are multiple ways you can help create the groundswell of support that will help get the bill passed:

Communicate with Legislators

1. Let your Legislators know your SUPPORT position on the bill:

HB1837 form to communicate with your Representatives

2. Testify at the House Hearing Monday, 2/10 at 4pm: Offer written testimony in support of HB 1837, or sign up to testify orally in person or remotely. Get started HERE. (At the very least, have your position noted PRO for the legislative record.)

3. Email every member of the House and Senate Transportation Committees, encouraging their YES vote on these bills.
