This week, we told Citibank that Climate Justice Means Free Palestine. We were joined by amazing youth organizers from NYC and around the country to demand Citibank stop funding death, both by facilitating U.S. weapons payments to Israel and funding fossil fuel expansion. Activists rallied, started an encampment, and interrupted Citibank elites’ workdays. Check out some highlights below!
This coming week is Gulf South Solidarity Week. We will be joined by nearly 200 community organizers and frontline leaders from the Gulf South for actions at multiple Wall Street targets, culminating in the largest Summer of Heat event so far: the Gulf South Rising, Fossil Fuels Sinking March and Mass Civil Disobedience. To join us, scroll down!
On Tuesday evening, we organized a rally outside Citibank HQ with Youth Climate Finance Alliance and several Palestinian organizations. You can read about the rally and the whole week here!
After the rally, activists attempted to start an encampment in the public plaza outside Citibank HQ. Police shut it down quickly, arresting 18 youth organizers. Watch a video here!
Youth Activists Block Citibank Entrances
On Friday morning, activists surprised Citibank employees by blocking entrances with a mock pipeline. After a 2 hour blockade, 23 activists were arrested. Watch a video here.

Summer of Heat Welcome Packetย โ find helpful contacts and information on housing, food, and other logistics!
Offer (or request) housing. If you live in NYC, we are seeking more local hosts to offer couches and floor space for out-of-town guests.
Please donate if you can! It costs money to pull off a campaign like this. An investment from you would help us pay for art supplies, outreach materials, and the rental cost of our training and event space.
See you in the streets!
