The U.S. is the #1 oil and gas producer in the world. Wildfires, flooding, and heat – we know it doesn’t have to be this way. That’s why we are building the people power to make big changes. This week, thousands of people across the U.S. are taking action in their communities to demand Biden end the era of fossil fuels — but this national week of action is just the start.

WE’RE GEARING UP FOR THE MARCH TO END FOSSIL FUELS — A MASS DEMONSTRATION IN NEW YORK CITY LEADING UP TO THE UNITED NATIONS CLIMATE AMBITION SUMMIT.

Thousands of us will take to the streets of New York to demand President Biden leads the way off fossil fuels for a livable future — and we’re starting to mobilize now.

We’ll launch this action with a special call on Thursday, June 15th, where we’ll be joined by actress and climate activist Jane Fonda to share more details on the march and ways to start getting involved.

Despite Biden’s climate promises, he has proven himself to be a fossil fuel hypocrite. Though he ran his presidential campaign promising to end drilling on federal lands and waters and tackle the climate crisis head-on, Biden has rubber-stamped one new oil and gas project after another.

This September, we will take action in New York City and across the world to demand Biden take the steps necessary to end the era of fossil fuels — from stopping approvals for fossil fuel projects, to phasing out oil and gas production on public lands and waters, to declaring a climate emergency to further shift us off fossil fuels and build a cleaner & more just energy future.

The kickoff call will be a chance to learn more and get involved with this critical mobilization. Whether you’re new to the movement or you’ve marched with us before, we’ll need everyone to make this a success. Please join us on the virtual launch event on Thursday, June 15th, to learn more and get involved.
