I wanted to share this powerful video from our organizing friends here in Tacoma, Darren and Benita Moore with Native Daily Network. You all may Darren and Benita from their incredible documentary, Ancestral Waters.
“This weekend, we witnessed Aztec dancers take part in a prayer ceremony at the Northwest Detention Center in Tacoma, Washington. This is a privately run immigration prison. This particular rally was in honor of the mothers locked up inside, who are separated from their children. Dakota Case of the Puyallup Tribe of Indians was present to give an official welcome onto Puyallup Territory.” #FreeThemAll #NoLNG253
Enjoy this powerful prayer and dance.
