We have had quite the summer! As we head into Fall, the Third Act team has been doing a lot of thinking about the state of our democracy and climate and what this means across the generations and for each of us moving forward.
During this month’s call, our founder Bill McKibben will give an update on the Inflation Reduction Act just signed into law by President Biden, share how it will reduce U.S. carbon emissions 40% below what they were in 2005, and outline what more needs to be done beyond legislation to create a livable future.
You will also hear from Third Act’s Campaign and Organizing Teams about what intergenerational action opportunities are coming up as we mobilize for the midterm election and participate in our democracy. And learn what other Third Actors have been up to via a Supporter Spotlight. We’ll be announcing a variety of Third Act events coming in September.
