Jeanne —

I’ve seen the same thing every time there is a fight for climate progress.

Big, out-of-state oil companies show up. They put 10, or 15, or 20 million dollars into stopping progress so they can protect their profits. But we have the people power, the on-the-ground fighting strength, and the grassroots resistance to give them a run for their money.

I’m proud of Washington — it’s about time we saw leadership like this when it comes to fighting big polluters and moving towards a clean energy future. And that’s why we need to do everything we can to make sure this works. The truth is, for the next 33 days, you have the privilege and the honor of doing the most important work that is being done on this planet. And I need to know you’re ready to step up for real.

Watch my video and see why I’m asking you: If you want to make sure the future changes for the better, donate to the 1631 campaign today and help us take the fight to big oil companies.

You can tell how important this fight is — because you can see how hard big oil companies are fighting to make sure it doesn’t pass. Luckily, our side’s got you.

Onward,
