Great News!  If you saw our email yesterday, you heard how we (Solutionary Rail and the Rail Can’t Wait Campaign) were pushing hard to get a hearing scheduled in the Senate for SB 5667 – the Intercity Passenger Rail Improvements Priorities Act of 2025.

Thanks to you, we got the hearing scheduled, for next Tuesday at 1:30!

Now we need as many supporters as possible to sign in as PRO as possible. (We have heard that the Pro/Con count is what Legislators pay most attention to.)

Our Labor allies are asking for our PRO position on the Train Length Bill, HB 1862.Please go to the bill page by Monday afternoon and register your PRO support for limiting train length allowable in Washington State.  This issue impacts Amtrak Cascades’ On Time Performance, as well as issues around safety, community impacts, labor, and more.
