WPSR engages health professionals and the wider community to take on the gravest
threats to human health & survival through advocacy, education, and action.
The 60-year-old GTN pipeline runs under the Spokane River, through Liberty Lake, Spokane Valley, and other parts of Spokane County. We’ll learn together about why health and faith communities across the region, a broad coalition, the Columbia River Inter-Tribal Fish Commission (CRITFC), Washington Governor Inslee, Attorney General Bob Ferguson, and many more are all opposed to this gas pipeline and compressor station capacity expansion. The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) could make a decision on this project as soon as April 20.
After an interactive presentation from a broad range of speakers, we will walk together with signs and banners several blocks south of the church to the Spokane River, where we will share a brief prayer and photograph a group picture.
All are welcome to attend this event. Click here to RSVP – we hope to see you there! Thank you for your support of WPSR and for speaking out against the GTN Xpress Pipeline project.
