May 7: 350Wenatchee Protest at Wenatchee Chase Bank 9:00-10:30 a.m.

I hope you the information about JPMorgan Chase that I sent in the last newsletter.   This is a nationwide campaign and an excellent time to show Chase that we really do care about what they are doing to our earth.  Even if you can only stay a short time – please come!  We must start valuing people and our planet over profits!!

I-1631 signature gathering campaign:

When the carbon tax did not get through the state legislature, a coalition of environmental groups, labor and social service organizations came together to create an initiative which will put a pollution fee on carbon and use the revenue to reduce pollution and promote clean energy.   If you are interested in helping to collect signatures for this initiative, you can contact Jeanne Poirier jeannepoirier@yahoo.com.  She has extra petitions.  Or, you can go straight to the I-1631website to find out more:  yeson1631.org/
