We are starting to turn the lights back on at the 350 WA Civic Action Team for this coming fall, and we hope you can be a part of the campaign this year. We’re so glad to be able to reach out to y’all with all the big 2022/2023 350 WA Civic Action Team updates. And an invitation to be part of organizing this campaign with us as a volunteer again this year.
Read ahead for all things CAT related! ❤🌲❤
- Check out our fresh new 2023 350 WA CAT Volunteer Guide for our calendar, our draft list of legislative priorities, Looking Ahead to these bills for the 2023 session and more.
- Be sure to register for our 2023 Volunteer Kickoff event next Tuesday at 5-6pm. And bring a friend! This will be a fun call.
This coming session will be a long one, with a lot of complexities around funding. We hope to make a big impact by working together to mobilize real climate advocates all around the state, together.
With the 350 WA CAT this year we plan to:
-
Write & send our usual twice-a-week action alert emails.
-
Create & post actions on our social media.
-
Hopefully get our mass texting platform up and running again this year, too!
-
We also hope to pull off some constituent lobbying and a few educational webinars.
-
And have some fun advocating together!
We’re going to make legislative advocacy on sound and just climate policy easier and more accessible for more people than ever before. We hope you’ll consider being part of the collective effort it takes to make all of this possible this year.
