After a short but much needed break, the RPV team is back and more dedicated than ever to organizing our neighbors to build a better future here in North Central Washington. A future where all working people have enough to build a dignified life for ourselves and our families. We know this work is a marathon, not a race, and we’re building for the long haul. But we know that when our communities come together and work hard towards the same common-sense goal, we get closer to the future we envision – just like we did last year by defeating tax breaks for the ultra-wealthy!
This year, the RPV team will continue to knock on doors, organize our neighbors, win elections, and tell a new story of North Central Washington. Be on the lookout for more about this year’s big work in upcoming emails and social media posts. We invite you to join us!
Vote Yes on your local school levy
Ballots have arrived and our local school districts from Leavenworth to Brewster need our support to replace their levies. These levies provide crucial funding for school technology, staffing, maintenance, transportation, arts, athletic programs, special education, after-school programs, and more.
RPV organizers have started knocking on doors and talking to neighbors about the vital funding levies provide. We know each and every one of our kids deserve fully funded schools. Let’sshow up together and vote YES by February 11th!
We’re the leaders working people want to elect
A new year means a new election cycle. This year dozens of local school board, city council, mayoral, and more “down ballot” seats will be up for election. Our communities want hard-working people in elected positions: working people just like us.
We want candidates who have skin in the game, know the importance of funding great schools and securing jobs and housing for everyone, and have the grit to continue showing up for our people, year after year. Those very candidates are our neighbors, our families, our friends, and ourselves. We’ve seen the damage divisive politicians create in our communities – and we aren’t standing for it. It’s time for people like us to roll up our sleeves and run for office. If you know someone who would be a great school board member, city council member, or PUD commissioner, or you’ve been thinking about running yourself, fill out this form or email us to get in touch.
We know running for office is hard work, that’s why we’ve built RPV around supporting candidates who do it! 🙂
Stay warm folks. We’ll be in touch,
The RPV Team
