All about Growth Management Act – upcoming legislation

Jamie has brought together great information on WA's GMA - and while in Chelan County it doesn't seem as relevant, growth here is happening and good to support this one! The Advocacy Toolkit provides tons of great information!

We had a great turn out for our All-Volunteer Meeting this afternoon. I hope you were able to be there! We have a lot of work ahead, but I know I am feeling so energized by all of the folks across the state of Washington who are rallying behind the need to update the Growth Management Act to address climate, housing affordability, and environmental justice this year. Whether or not you were able to join us today, below you will find links to slides from the meeting and other resources and opportunities to get involved in the campaign. A recording of the training will also be posted on our Facebook page in the next few days, so stay tuned!

As we look ahead to the 2021 legislative session, we know this is only the beginning of what will need to be a concentrated effort to keep the GMA at the top of our legislators’ priority lists. We will need all hands on deck these next few months, but I know that together we can build a better world.
