We cannot thank you enough.
It’s hard to feel good given the outcome of the presidential election, but I hope we can all find some space to feel proud of the work we’ve done in defeating three of the four dangerous and deceptive Heywood initiatives.
This is an enormous victory for millions of Washingtonians. Thanks to your support, working families across the state will benefit from cleaner air, better healthcare, and better schools thanks to the efforts that we put in together. Washington voted yes to child care, taking care of our seniors, and fighting pollution with clean energy, and no on tax breaks for hedge fund managers and big polluters.
And perhaps best of all – voters taught Brian Heywood that spending $6 million to buy wealthy people and corporations a tax break won’t work here in Washington State.
We couldn’t have done this without all your work – the thousands of doors knocked, the tens of thousands of phone calls, the hundreds of thousands of text messages sent, and the countless conversations amongst friends and family. And for that, we cannot thank you enough.
It’s a difficult time, but made brighter by you.
