Hello Jeanne!
We’re in the third week of the legislative session and bills are coming at us FAST. It’s great to have you taking action with us, whether you have time for just one action or many.
You are also invited to join us for two very special events coming up that we’re cohosting with Washington Conservation Action, Futurewise, and others.
Legislative Lobbying & Advocacy Fair February 1st, 6:30-8pm – register here. Come for training and education on the state’s legislature and tools and get connected to legislative advocacy groups.
Environmental Lobby Days February 14th-16th – register here. This all-virtual annual event brings people together from across the state to meet with lawmakers and advocate for good policies.
– Grace, Rachel, and the whole CAT crew.
PS Remember when we asked y’all to share some amazing facts about the natural world with us a few weeks ago? We’re excited to share them back, and here’s our first! The wood frog freezes entirely in winter. When the ice melts, the contraction shocks the heart back into a beating pattern, and the frog hops away.
